Young talent from DASH Badminton Ricky Tang is our new Australian National Champion 2023.

Ricky Tang gained recognition as the youngest participant in Australian history to join the World Junior Championships when he was just 14 years old. Even earlier, at the age of 9, he showcased his skills by representing the under 13 state team. Tang’s exceptional talent has led him to compete in various esteemed international tournaments, including the Pan Pacific International Championships in Perth, the Australian Junior International in Melbourne, the Singapore Youth International in Singapore, the Oceania Junior Championship in Melbourne, and numerous other renowned events. His latest outing was the TotalEnergies BWF Sudirman Cup Finals 2023 in Suzhou.

At the tender age of 5, Ricky embarked on his training journey at DASH. Now, in addition to his rigorous tournament preparations and university assignments, he contributes to the coaching team as well.
